WINNIPEG, MB., June 23, 2016 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the addition of International defensive back Travis Hawkins to the practice roster.
Hawkins (5-9, 190, Delaware, February 18, 1991 in Rockville, MD) played in 15 games with the Toronto Argonauts last season, recording 37 defensive tackles and two interceptions.
Hawkins signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2014, after playing three seasons at Delaware, and two at Maryland. In his senior season at Delaware (2013), he recorded 66 tackles, eight pass knockdowns, one forced fumble and four interceptions.
