Tri-City Dust Devils News Release
The Tri-City Dust Devils (41-5) won their fifth consecutive game on Friday night at Gesa Stadium with the 3-1 victory over the Eugene Emeralds. The five-game winning streak is the team's longest of the season.
For the third time in the series, the Dust Devils came away with the victory despite falling behind early in the game. Tri-City took the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning off a Branxton Martinez solo home run. The Emeralds threatened in the top of the ninth inning after loading the bases, but the Dust Devils were able to ultimately slam the door shut on Eugene to wrap up the victory.
Coming up in the fifth matchup of the series on Saturday night the Dust Devils will send left-hander Adam Seminaris to the mound. Eugene will counter with right-hander Kai-Wei Teng.
