Wings goalie Henry Welsch made 24 saves and Natan Vertes had three points as the Wings picked up a 4-1 road win in Austin. Aberdeen opened the scoring early in the 1st period on a goal from Connor Beatty. The Bruins tied the game later in period with their lone tally from Ben Almquist. In the 2nd period, Cooper Haar scored the eventual game-winning goal and Antonio DiPaolo and Vertes added 3rd period goals. Bruins goalie Tyler Shea took the loss, making 23 saves.
The two teams will meet again tonight at Riverside Arena in Austin, MN. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05pm.
