The Aberdeen Wings looked for their 7th straight win Friday night at the Odde Ice Center, standing in their way would be the Coulee Region Chill. The Wings were able to jump off to another quick start as Erik Baskin got the scoring started just 44 seconds into the first period. Assisting on the Baskin goal were Jonathan Grebosky and Kyle Haak. The Wings lead would last until the 13:44 mark of the period when Coulee was able to tie the game on a tip in. The two teams would go into the 1st intermission tied at 1.
In the 2nd the hitting and defense would both pick up as Aberdeen was changed with the first penalty of the game when Zach Kraft went to the box for 2 minutes for Kneeing. Parizek ripped a one timer past the Coulee goaltender to give the Wings a 2-1 lead heading into the 3rd.
The third belonged to Erik Baskin, as he added goals number 2 and 3 on the game giving him the hat trick! Assisting on the Baskin goals were Grebosky Dylan Dailey and Haak! The Wings relied once again on a strong defensive effort and got another solid performance in goal from Chad Catt who stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced. The Wings look for their 8th straight Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center when they once again welcome the Coluee Region Chill.
