
Wings win again 4-3 in a shootout

The Aberdeen Wings took to the Ice again Saturday night in Bismarck looking for their 6th straight win, and to stay in the playoff hunt. Bismarck wouldn't make things easy however jumping out to a 2 goal lead early in the 1st. Peter Krieger was able to respond before the 1st intermission on a pretty goal with assists going to Steven Johnson and Justin Parizek.. Bismarck would add another early goal in the 2nd and take a 3-1 lead into the 3rd. Peter Krieger would get his 2nd of the game just 21 seconds into the 3rd with an assists going to Jordan Heller and Jake Horton. Horton would add a goal of his own at the 7:46 mark with Jonathan Grebosky and Tanner Holmquist. The game would stay tied into the shootout when Aberdeen would pull off the victory. Krieger, Parizek and Sam Coborn the former Bobcat would score in the shootout to win it for the Wings. In goal for Aberdeen was Zach Nagelvoort who not only made 33 saves on 35 shots but also stopped 3 of the 5 shooters in the shootout. The Wings streak improves to 6 straight! They will look to make it 7 next Friday night at the Odde Ice Center vs the Coulee Region Chill. Game time will be 7:15.
