Seattle, Washington - The Dallas Wings (6-4) beat the Seattle Storm (5-4), 68 - 51, at Climate Pledge Arena Friday night.
Satou Sabally recorded her sixth career double-double, as she led the Dallas Wings with 11 rebounds and scored 11 points. She was joined in double-figures by Allisha Gray (18) and Arike Ogunbowale (16). Sabally also led the team with a career-high six assists.
As a team, the Wings recorded 42 rebounds, a season-high, and held Seattle to a season-low 51 points, the fewest the franchise has allowed since moving to Dallas. The 17-point win was also the largest margin of victory for Dallas this season, and the second largest losing margin for Seattle.
Dallas next draw the Las Vegas Aces (9-2) on Sunday, June 5, at 5:00 p.m. CT.
Notables:
Dallas held Seattle to just 27 first half points, the least of any Wings opponent this season. The Storm finished with just 51 points, the lowest by a Wings opponent since the team moved to Dallas.
The Wings allowed just two Storm players to score in the second half, tying the fewest number of scorers allowed in a second half in WNBA history.
Arike Ogunbowale reached double-figures, finishing with 16 points.
Allisha Gray surpassed 10 points for the ninth time this season. She finished with 18 points.
The 17-point margin of victory was the most by the Wings this season.
Satou Sabally recorded 11 points, her fourth game in double-figures. She also led the Wings with 11 rebounds, her sixth career double-double and first outside of the Wubble.
