Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League announced today the signing of Swedish forward Victor Ostling.
Ostling played last season for Vasteras J18 in Sweden's premiere junior hockey league. In 2013-2014 he scored 13 goals and 21 assists in just 26 games. In his total junior career to date, Ostling has tallied 58 points in 75 games. The program that he most recently played for developed NHL 1st Round Draft Pick and current Calgary Flames center Mikael Backlund.
While playing in the Swedish Junior Hockey League, the rinks are Olympic size, much larger than that of North American junior hockey or the Odde Ice Center. EliteProspects.com said that Victor Ostling "is a speedy winger with good agility, acceleration and top speed. Furthermore, a creative player with good technical skills, hockey sense and creativity."
The organization along with their community of fans welcome #11 Victor Ostling (F-Stockholm, Sweden) to the Aberdeen Wings of the North American Hockey League.
