
Wings Sign Forward Jacob Peterson to Tender

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce the signing of Forward Jacob Peterson to a Tender. Jacob is a 6'2 190lb left handed forward from Brookings, SD. Jacob currently plays for the Sioux Falls Power 18U AAA team where he has 20 goals and 15 assists in 29 games played this season. He spent the past 2 seasons playing for Northstar Christian Academy 16U AAA.
"Really excited to announce to the signing of Jacob Peterson to a tender for next season. Jacob is a left shot forward that plays big and can produce offensively. He's currently leading the Sioux Falls Power team with 20 goals in 29 games and second on the team with 35 points. Jacob has had the opportunity to come skate with us and see what goes on daily here in Aberdeen. Jacob also has ties to Aberdeen being close to his hometown of Brookings and knowing our billet coordinator Amanda Holland and her family. He is a great kid that works hard and has a lot of potential to be impact player for us next season.
