Wings Present Check to Jersey Fundraiser

November 26, 2014 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Aberdeen Wings News Release

During the first intermission of the Wings' home game on Wednesday, the team presented a check to the Aberdeen Area Humane Society. The check was the total amount raised in a special jersey auction in which Wings players wore jerseys designed to commemorate the Aberdeen Area Humane Society. Each player worn jersey was auctioned off following the game with proceeds donated to the organization.

Wings owner & general manager Greg Odde presented Stacey Franks, shelter manager of the Aberdeen Area Humane Society with a check for $23,200. There are still 5 jerseys available for auction on the Wings website under the [Fan Zone] tab. The proceeds from this auction will also go to the organization.

Thank you to the Wings fans and Wings community for their support of the team and the Aberdeen Area Humane Society.
