MN Wilderness 3 @ Aberdeen 2 (OT) - Nate Horn's goal in overtime helped the Minnesota Wilderness avoid a sweep at the hands of the Aberdeen Wings. Lewis Crosby and Chikara Hanzawa scored for the Wilderness in regulation while Kaleb Johnson made 35 stops for Minnesota.Jakob Breault and Evan Googins were the goal scorers for Aberdeen. Jake Sibell took the loss in goal as he made 30 saves on 33 chances. With the overtime loss the Wings still earned 3 points and 7 of a possible 8 points in the 4 games with the Wilderness!
The Wings hit the road again this coming weekend to take on the Chippewa Falls Steel. The Steel are currently on an 8 game winning streak. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:10pm both Friday & Saturday. The Wings return home November 8th & 9th to take on the Minot Minotauros. Tickets are on sale NOW at any of the C-Express locations in Aberdeen!
