Aberdeen 1 @ Austin 2 (OT) - Hugh Larkin scored just :25 seconds into overtime as the Austin Bruins needed extra time for a second straight night to defeat the Wings and pick up a weekened home sweep. The Bruins led 1-0 with a goal late in the 1st period from Conner Tilmon. The Wings would answer early in the 3rd period on Noah Etter's first goal of the season. That set the stage for Larkin's overtime-winner, where he came out from behind the net and slipped a shot past Wings goalie Henry Welsch. Bruins goalie Zach Hansen earned the win.
