Wings Acquire Robertson From Minnesota

The Philadelphia Wings acquired defenseman Brock Robertson from the Minnesota Swarm in exchange for the Wings second round pick in the 2006 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft.

"We're excited to be able to add a player with Brock's abilities to our team," said Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson. "He will add toughness and size to our defense this season."

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound defenseman has recorded two points (1G, 1A), 26 loose balls and 69 penalty minutes in 23 career games. He has seen playing time with the Albany Attack, Rochester Knighthawks, and Arizona Sting in three seasons. The Orillia, ON native was originally selected by Albany in the fifth round (59th overall) in the 2001 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft.
