
Sting TV Schedule Announced

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of the Phoenix Coyotes and Arizona Sting Mike Bucek announced today that he has reached an agreement with Cox Communications to air four Arizona Sting home games on Cox 7 in 2006.
"We're pleased to partner again with Cox Communications to bring exciting Arizona Sting NLL action to lacrosse fans across Arizona," said Bucek. "This marks the third season of our television coverage on Cox and we look forward to another great season for the Sting and Cox 7"
The games that will be shown on Cox 7 next season will be:
January 13 vs. Portland
February 18 vs. Calgary
March 18 vs. Colorado
April 14 vs. San Jose
Cox Communications is the largest cable provider in the state of Arizona and has a reach that covers the Phoenix metro area and southern Arizona (including Tucson).
Last year, Cox 7 showed Sting matches against Philadelphia, Calgary, and San Jose twice. The Sting's NLL Edge Champion's Cup game against the Toronto Rock was shown nationally on NBC on May 15.
The Arizona Sting is a professional indoor lacrosse team playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). In only their second season in Arizona (after re-locating from Columbus, Ohio), the Sting finished the 2005 regular season with a 9-7 record prior to going on to win the West Division Championship before losing to the Toronto Rock in the Champion's Cup Final (NLL title game).
