Wingnuts Offering Great Ticket Special this Week

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts are offering a buy-one, get-one-free ticket special during their final four regular season home games for 'Fan Appreciation Week'.
"This is our way of saying thank you to all of the fans that came to Lawrence-Dumont Stadium this summer to support the Wingnuts," said Wingnuts' General Manager Josh Robertson. "We hope all Wichitans take advantage of this offer to come see the Wingnuts continue their playoff race and cheer them on during the final four home games of the year."
By mentioning 'Fan Appreciation Week', fans can purchase buy-one, get-one-free tickets for all seats at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium at the regular adult price. The Wingnuts host the Amarillo Sox in a four-game series beginning Tuesday night. All games start at 7:05 p.m.
Tuesday is the Wingnuts' final Shiner Bock Beer-for-a-Buck night, presented by 107.3 The Brew. Fans can enjoy Shiner Bock Beer for just $1.00.
Following Thursday night's contest, the Wingnuts host their final P.F. Chang's Home Run Derby, courtesy of P.F. Chang's China Bistro. One last round of contestants will attempt to hit one out of Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. Any qualifiers will then participate against the top sluggers from this summer in a championship round. Thursday is also Thirsty Thursday, presented by T-95, where fans can enjoy $2.00 off all drinks, excluding small sodas.
The regular season concludes Friday with Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Clear Channel Radio. Several flights to Phoenix, AZ will be given away, courtesy of Allegiant Air. After the game, two lucky fans will throw for a chance to win the $100,000 grand prize in Kansas Star Casino's Launch-a-Ball promotion.
The Wingnuts currently lead the Gary SouthShore RailCats by 1.0 game in the Central Division, and have a 1.0 game lead over the RailCats and St. Paul Saints in the wild card standings. All three teams are down to their final eight regular season games.
