WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts lost 11-8 to the Kansas City T-Bones at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Friday night.

Wichita led 5-1 after two innings, but an eight-run top of the third handed the T-Bones the lead for good. Consecutive singles from Jimmy Mojica, Rico Washington, and Ray Sadler loaded the bases with no outs against Wingnuts' starter Justin Murray. Kala Ka'aihue singled through the left side to score Mojica and Washington and cut the Wingnuts' lead to 5-3. Aharon Eggleston walked to re-load the bases, setting up Prentice Redman's line drive RBI single to center.

With the lead now at 5-4, and with the bases still loaded, Keanon Simon doubled to deep right field to score Ka'aihue and Eggleston with the tying and go-ahead runs. Jeff Hulett doubled to left center to score two more runs and give Kansas City an 8-5 lead. Johnny Bowden singled to center to drive in Hulett with the T-Bones' ninth run of the game.

Josh Horn brought the Wingnuts back within one run with a sacrifice fly to center field that scored Workman. Jose Duran then reached on an infield single to put the tying run on first, but Santos went on to retire the next 12 hitters in a row. Wichita had only two hits after Duran's single through the remainder of the game.

Mojica led off the game with a single to left and scored on a double to left-center from Washington. Murray limited the T-Bones to the one run in the opening inning, allowing Wichita to take the lead.

With two outs and no one on base, Brent Clevlen and Richardson drew back-to-back walks against Santos. Jorge Delgado was next and lined a single to left that scored Clevlen to tie the game.
