Fort Worth Brahmas News Release
The Fort Worth Brahmas are going retro this weekend, returning to the venerable Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum for two home games.
On Friday, February 10, the Brahmas will host the Laredo Bucks at 7:30 p.m. at the WRMC.
On Saturday, February 11, Fort Worth will tangle with the Corpus Christi Rayz at 7:30 p.m at the WRMC.
For both games this weekend, the Brahmas will be wearing retro Fort Worth Wings jerseys (circa 1967). These jerseys (pictured) feature a Fort Worth Wings crest and logo patches on the lower front of the Fort Worth Rangers, Fort Worth Texans, Fort Worth Fire and Fort Worth Brahmas (all the teams that have called Will Rogers home over the last 65 years). The game worn Fort Worth Wings jerseys will be auctioned off by the Brahmas immediately following Saturday night's game in the Backstage Club of the WRMC. This live jersey auction, which will be attended by all the Brahmas players, is free of charge and open to the general public.
Fans will want to arrive early for both of the Brahmas home games this weekend. The first 2,000 fans in attendance for Friday night's game against the Bucks will receive a free pair of cheerstix courtesy of the DFW Credit Union Awareness Council. On Saturday night, the first 2,000 fans through the WRMC gates will receive a free Brahmas puck courtesy of AirCheck Texas.
