
Windy City Blows by Texas
December 19, 2019 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
LAS VEGAS - The Windy City Bulls (8-7) defeated the Texas Legends (9-8), 126-111, on Day One of the 2019 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Windy City had three players score more than 20 points in the contest. Denver Nuggets two-way player P.J. Dozier posted a double-double with a game-high 26 points along with 11 rebounds. On assignment from the Chicago Bulls, Cristiano Felicio also had a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Milton Doyle added 21 points and dished eight assists while connecting on four three-pointers in tonight's game. Windy City led by as many as 28 and improved to 8-7 with the victory.
Texas was paced by guard Nate Mason's 22 points and seven assists in 33 minutes. On assignment from the Dallas Mavericks, Antonius Cleveland recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds while Mavericks two-way player Josh Reaves also added 21 points in the affair.
Texas and Windy City each play their final Showcase games on Saturday, Dec. 21. The Bulls take on the Lakeland Magic (9-7) at 2:30 p.m. PT and the Legends will conclude their Showcase schedule when they face the South Bay Lakers (8-8) at 12 p.m. PT.
