
Stockton Outlasts Delaware in Overtime at Showcase

LAS VEGAS - The Stockton Kings (11-5) defeated the Delaware Blue Coats (10-5), 127-120, on Day One of the 2019 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Four of Stockton's starters scored in double figures as they earned their 11th win of the season. Reserve Isaiah Canaan logged 38 minutes off the bench and netted a game-high 39 points to lead Stockton. The point guard led his team to victory with eight points in the overtime period.
On assignment from the Sacramento Kings, forwards Wenyen Gabriel and Caleb Swanigan each registered double-doubles. Gabriel had 16 points and 16 rebounds while Swanigan added 16 points and 13 rebounds. Stockton improved to 11-5 with the win.
Delaware was propelled by Philadelphia 76ers assignment player Shake Milton. Milton scored 27 points along with six assists in 27 minutes off the bench. The Blue Coats also received significant contributions from 76ers two-way player Mariel Shayok and assignment player Jonah Bolden in the contest. Each forward recorded 22 points and four assists. Delaware fell to 10-5 after today's game.
Delaware and Stockton each play their final Showcase games on Saturday. The Kings take on the Canton Charge (11-5) at 3:30 p.m. PT while the Blue Coats face off against the Maine Red Claws (9-5) at 12:30 p.m. PT.
