Windy City Blows by Iowa at Showcase

LAS VEGAS - The Windy City Bulls (9-12) picked up their season-high fourth consecutive win by defeating the Iowa Wolves (8-11), 115-103, at the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Walter Lemon, Jr. led Windy City to victory with a double-double of 25 points and 10 assists in 37 minutes. Forward CJ Fair also posted a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Thomas Wilder came off the bench to add 18 points in the winning effort. Windy City won both Showcase games and improved to 9-12 on the season.
The Bulls never trailed in the game and led by as many as 18. The team used the three-pointer to their advantage, netting 14 three-pointers on 50 percent shooting.
In the loss, NBA assignee Keita Bates-Diop registered a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Jonathan Stark tallied 25 points and three assists in 40 minutes. Iowa split their Showcase games, falling to 8-11 with the loss.
The Bulls' next game will be on the road against the Oklahoma City Blue on Friday, Dec. 28 at 5 p.m. PT on Facebook Live, while Iowa will be back in action against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN+.
