Blue Coats Left Starstruck in Showcase Finale

LAS VEGAS - The Salt Lake City Stars (10-9) defeated the Delaware Blue Coats (6-11), 99-93, in the final game of the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.

All the Stars' starters reached double figures in tonight's contest. Guard Isaiah Cousins was their leading scorer with 21 points. NBA assignees Grayson Allen and Tony Bradley finished with 11 and 12 points, respectively. Forward Willie Reed posted a double-double of 12 points and eight rebounds. Reserve Jalrus Lyles added eight points and 10 assists in 24 minutes. Salt Lake City won both of their games in Las Vegas and improved to 10-9 on the season.

Delaware's Cameron Oliver recorded a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Matt Farrell also registered a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists. Ryan Anderson netted 15 points in 18 minutes off the bench. The Blue Coats went winless in Las Vegas and fell to 6-11 with tonight's loss.

The Stars will head home for their next game, when they host the Austin Spurs on Friday at 6 p.m. PT on Facebook Live. The Blue Coats will also return to action on Friday at 4 p.m. PT, when they visit the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Both games can be seen on Facebook Live.
