Blue Holds off Nets in Final Minutes to Clinch Win

LAS VEGAS - The Oklahoma City Blue held off the Long Island Nets in the final minutes to earn the 112-108 victory at the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase. The Blue improve to 15-4 with the win. The Nets hold strong at 12-6 despite the loss.
Oklahoma City was led by guard Deonte Burton who scored 21 points on 9-of-15 from the field and had six rebounds and four assists. Fellow starters Richard Solomon (15 points, 11 rebounds) and Scott Hopson (17 points) also had strong performances.
Long Island's Alan Williams once again had a standout performance, notching 19 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Forward Mitchell Creek shot 9-of-14 from the field for 26 points to lead the Nets in scoring.
