
Windsor's Regular Season Closes with Loss

(WINDSOR, ON) With their spot in the NBL playoffs locked up, the Windsor Express fell 112-99 to the Brampton A's at the WFCU Centre on Saturday night.
The win was valuable for Brampton (18-14), who clinch home court advantage in their conference semifinal series against the London Lightning.
Windsor (21-11) closes the regular season as the #1 overall seed in the NBL playoffs and will start their conference semifinal against Mississauga on Saturday, March 7th at the WFCU Centre.
The Express opened the game with a 23-19 lead after the first quarter, but relinquished that momentum in the second.
Brampton tore open the contest in the second after a 22-8 run and turned a 34-34 game into a 58-48 game at the half.
The A's kept the pedal down in the third, outscoring Windsor 31-23 and increasing their lead to 18 heading into the fourth.
Windsor played with a short bench, resting starters Tony Bennett and Quinnel Brown.
Ryan Anderson had a game-high 21 points and added 7 rebounds.
Adrian Moss dished out nine assists to go with seven points in 25 minutes of play.
For the Express, it's on to the playoffs, hosting Game 1 of their Conference Semifinal on Saturday, March 7th at 7:00pm at the WFCU Centre.

Last season, the Express swept Mississauga on their way to their first NBL Championship.
