(LONDON, Ontario) - Saturday night, in front of a record 8,725 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Mississauga Power, 126-91.
This was the fourth consecutive win for the Lightning who finished the season at 18-14, placing third in the Central Conference.
"Our team is more focused. We have great veteran leadership doing an outstanding job of getting our guys together," said head coach Carlos Knox.
Leading the Lightning in scoring was Brampton native Sefton Barrett with 25 points.
"Coming out and seeing the crowd tonight really helped to energize us. We're really focused on the playoffs and we'll be ready for Brampton," said Barrett.
John Hart also scored 19 points and Darnell Lazare was the top rebounder with 12.
At half time, the United Way of London & Middlesex announced that they exceeded their $9 million campaign goal with a final total of $9,005,622.
The Lightning will now go on to play the Brampton A's in the first round of the NBL Canada Playoffs. The first round schedule will be:

Tickets for the first round of playoffs will be available for purchase starting Monday, March 2 through the Budweiser Gardens Box Office.
