(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce that the team will be honouring Brian Kilrea, legendary head coach of the Ottawa 67's in tomorrow night's pre-game ceremonies as the Spitfires take on the 67's. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m at Windsor Arena.

Kilrea, has served as the head coach of the 67's for 31 seasons and has led the team to two Memorial Cups Championships in 1984 and 1999 and three Ontario Hockey League Championships in 1977, 1984 and 2001. Kilrea was also inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003.

"We are thrilled as an organization to honour Brian, as he is the all-time winningest coach in OHL and CHL history. His winning record and how many junior players he has turned into NHL'ers speaks for itself," said Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager Warren Rychel.

Rychel was a member of the Ottawa 67's from 1985 to 1987 and served as the team's captain when he played for Kilrea during the 1986-87 season.
