Windsor Spitfires "Playoff Preview Show" Live from Dirty Jerseys on March 8th
February 27, 2009 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Windsor Spitfires News Release
The Windsor Spitfires have won the West Division, Western Conference and OHL Regular Season Championships. Soon, it'll be time to set their sights on capturing the Ontario Hockey League title.
The last regular season game is March 14th with the playoffs fast approaching, so the Windsor Spitfires and AM800 will get fans fired up for the post-season with a Windsor Spitfires "Playoff Preview Show" live from Dirty Jersey's Bar and Grill on Sunday March 8th from 6pm to 7pm.
The show will be broadcast live on AM800!
Steve Bell and Paul McDonald will host the show and will fire questions at the coaching team of Bob Boughner, Bob Jones and DJ Smith. Fans in the restaurant will also be invited to ask questions.
The broadcast follows the Spits/Knights game that afternoon so the idea is for fans to go directly from the WFCU Centre to Dirty Jersey's (2 pm game time, ending around 4:30pm). There's no charge to get in, and there's 50% off ribs, wings and pizza.
The Dirty Jersey's shuttle will be running to the sold out game, as it does for all WFCU Centre events, including Spits' playoff games. Dirty Jersey's is located at 6675 Tecumseh Road East at Roseville Gardens Drive in Windsor.
The AM800 A-Team will be on-site registering people to win Spits' playoff tickets, an autographed stick and station prizing. Fans are encouraged to visit Dirty Jersey's or listen to the show live on AM800!
