
Windsor Opens Playoffs with Win

(WINDSOR, ONTARIO) Chris Commons posted 29 points and Darren Duncan had 14 points and 15 assists as the Windsor Express took Game 1 of their NBL Quarterfinal Series with Mississauga 107-95 on Tuesday night.
Morgan Lewis blasted 35 points for the Power, who trail Windsor in the best of 5 series 1-0.
After trailing in the first quarter, the Express took a 31-20 advantage in the second frame, setting up for a nine point halftime lead.
But, the Power never went away, and had the game tied 85-85 with only a few minutes left in the fourth.
Kevin Loiselle had 12 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double of his own in 32 minutes of play.
Windsor has now won eight of the nine games they've played against Mississauga, including the regular season.
The Express take the 1-0 series lead into Game 2 tomorrow night, Wednesday, March 5th at 7:00pm at the WFCU Centre.
