Windsor Ford V-8's Jerseys Revealed Thursday

(WINDSOR, ON) Before their game against the Brampton A's on Thursday, January 8th, the Windsor Express will unveil the special jerseys to be worn in tribute to the Windsor Ford V-8's basketball team.
The team, along with members of the Windsor-Essex County Sports Hall of Fame, will be at Rose City Ford, located at 6333 Tecumseh Road East, at 12:00pm to present the jerseys.
That night, the team will honour the Windsor Ford V-8's, who earned a silver medal in the 1936 Summer Olympics, held in Berlin, Germany, and are still the only team from Canada to medal in Olympic basketball.
Fans will have the chance to bid on the jerseys worn by the players through an auction during the game.
Memorabilia from the 1936 Olympics will be on hand at the arena and family members of players from the Ford V-8's team will be in attendance and part of a special ceremony at halftime.
Game time is 7:00pm.
