PLYMOUTH - Hayden McColl scored twice and Aaron Luchuk dished off three assists as the Windsor Spitfires led from start to finish in an 8-4 victory over the Plymouth Whalers in an Ontario Hockey league game played Tuesday afternoon before 2,778 at Compuware Arena.
Windsor improves to 13-20-1-0; Plymouth is 11-21-2-1.
Besides McCool's pair (8-9), Windsor also received goals from Trevor Murphy (12), Graeme Brown (2), Liam Murray (2), Luke Kirwan (5), Logan Brown (7) and Cristiano DiGiacinto (11).
Mathieu Henderson (3), Matt Mistele (24), Mitch Jones (3) and Mathew Campagna (12) scored for the Whalers, with Connor Chathma recording two assists.
Windsor led, 4-1 after one period and 8-3 after forty minutes.
Plymouth and Windsor meet Wednesday afternoon in Windsor at WFCU Centre (2 pm, 88.1FM WSDP).
