
Rangers and Generals Complete Trade

Kitchener Rangers General Manager Murray Hiebert announced Tuesday that the team has completed a trade with the Oshawa Generals.
In the trade, the Generals acquire winger Brent Pedersen from the Rangers. In exchange, Kitchener receives Oshawa's second round pick in 2017, Oshawa's second round pick in 2018 and Oshawa's third round pick in the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. The Rangers also receive two conditional OHL Priority Selection picks; the General's third round selection in 2017 and fourth round selection in 2018.
"The Kitchener Rangers are grateful to Brent for his contributions to our team over the past three and a half seasons," said Hiebert. "The Generals are getting a terrific player, and we wish Brent all the best as his career progresses."
