
Windsor Defends Home Court Again

(WINDSOR, ONTARIO) It's the hardest place for visitors to play in the National Basketball League of Canada.
The Windsor Express charged away with a 110-88 win over the Mississauga Power on Sunday afternoon, improving to 10-1 at the WFCU Centre this season.
The Express (16-7) were led offensively by Chris Commons, who had a game high 27 points.
Kevin Loiselle (17 rebounds/15 points) and Darren Duncan (18 points/11 assists) supported the effort by each registering double-doubles.
Windsor held a 5 point lead at halftime, enlarged it to 10 after three and blew the doors open in the final frame with a 25-13 advantage.
The Express have won seven straight on their home floor, not suffering a defeat since November 23rd.
Despite 21 points from Nick Okorie and Eric Petty Jr. the Power (7-18) have now dropped 9 in a row.
The Express will face the Power for a third straight time on Wednesday, January 8th in Mississauga.
Windsor hopes to have a large crowd push them to another home victory on Saturday, January 11th when they welcome the Ottawa Skyhawks.
