
Power Head Home from Windsor with Loss

(Windsor, ON - ) The Power traveled to Windsor this afternoon to take on the Express at the WFCU centre. The team remained competitive throughout the game until the fourth quarter when the team struggled to find its offense. The Power have fallen to 7-18 for the season after the 110-88 loss. Eric Petty Jr., playing in just his fourth game in a Power uniform scored 21 points and 8 rebounds while Nick Okorie added 21 points and 5 assists. Chris Commons scored 27 points and added 9 rebounds for the home club.
The Power remained in striking distance early, down only three points after one quarter. It was much of the same story in the second half as the Power spent the majority of the quarter down by no more than five points. The Express took a small 54-49 lead into the second half.
The Power went down as many as 15 points in the third quarter before going on a run to cut the Express' lead down to 11 heading into the final frame. In the fourth, the Power struggled to find their offense as the team only managed to score 13 points in the quarter, losing 110-88.
The Power will have a rematch with the Express on their home court as the two teams face off again on January 8th at the Hershey Centre.
