Having watched the increasing support that the Mississauga Power has received over the last few years, I've come to realize that my beliefs and investment towards growing the game of basketball in Canada were correct. Today we are happy to announce that after thorough discussions with MLSE and the Toronto Raptors we have collaborated to bring an NBA Development League team here to Mississauga for the Greater Toronto Area. This opportunity will continue to present likeminded enthusiasts the platform to pursue their aspirations of contributing towards professional sports whether it be as a player or in business operations. I would like to thank the City of Mississauga for embracing Power Basketball as a cornerstone of the community and the Hershey Centre for being a great partner in providing the highest level of exciting entertainment for our fans. I'd also like to thank every member of Power Nation for their dedication over the past 4 seasons.
