USHL Waterloo Black Hawks

Win One Year of Free Golf

March 26, 2018 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Waterloo Black Hawks News Release

Waterloo, Iowa - Golfers are crazy.

From the time the snow melts until the leaves fall (and sometimes longer), they brave the heat, the cold, the wind, and the rain to chase a little white ball for the sake a sheer aggravation.

Yet, whether an ace or a duffer, any golfer will tell you it's all worth it when you hit that one perfect shot.

This Saturday, those who understand that feeling can take the ice (and those who don't can watch as they run amok) for the Waterloo Black Hawks' first-ever Golf Ball Drop Extravaganza.

For one minute, registered golfers will have the opportunity to find the one winning golf ball bouncing across the rink from among over 200 dropped onto the ice at intermission. The prize: a year of free golf at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Dike.

Limited sign-ups to participate are being accepted immediately as part of the Golf Ball Drop Extravaganza package. For $18, a fan will receive an attack zone ticket and be included in the contest, as well as receiving a Coors Light Cold Zone beverage voucher (must be 21) and five Waterloo Black Hawks golf tees to take the first swings of 2018.

Season ticket holders can sign up for the same package - minus the game ticket - for $5.

In addition, all fans in attendance can enter to win a free round of golf. Winners will be selected at random throughout the evening. These great courses are participating:

Buffalo Creek Golf Club, Aurora

Maple Hills Country Club, Tripoli

Red Carpet Golf Course, Waterloo

Town & Country Golf Club, Grundy Center

Willow Run Country Club, Denver

To order the Golf Ball Drop Extravaganza package or other tickets to this Saturday's game between the Black Hawks and the Dubuque Fighting Saints, call the Domino's Black Hawks Box Office at (319) 291-7680.
