Lake Erie Crushers News Release
Avon, Oh- As a part of the Frontier League All Star Fan Fest and Home Run Derby on Tuesday, July 12 at All Pro Freight Stadium, the Lake Erie Crushers have teamed up with Joyce Buick GMC to give away a brand new 2011 GMC Terrain during the Home Run Derby if one of the contestants hit a home run in a specified area.
Fans will be able to enter the car giveaway raffle at the Joyce Buick GMC Fan Services Center, located on the concourse at All Pro Freight Stadium throughout the Fan Fest. Tickets for the raffle will be one (1) for $1 or six (6) for $5. All proceeds will be donated to Our Lady of the Wayside, a nonprofit organization benefiting MRDD.
A sign will be placed on the Weed Pro Lawn area, approximately four hundred feet from home plate. If a home derby participant manages to hit the sign with a baseball, a raffle ticket will be drawn and the GMC Terrain will be given to that lucky fan.
"We have such outstanding support from our amazing fan base every year," said Crushers' Owner Steven Edelson. "Hopefully that sign will get hit so we can give back in a big way!"
