
Wilson, Vesey Return from Bakersfield

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors, and powered by Toyota, announced today that Jared Wilson has been loaned to us from the Bakersfield Condors. Forward Nolan Vesey has been recalled by the Edmonton Oilers from Bakersfield and assigned to Wichita.
Wilson, , was called up to Bakersfield on December 12th. The rookie defenseman out of RPI has nine points (1g, 8a) in 23 games for the Thunder. He had a small taste of the pro game late last season, appearing in the final 10 contests for the Toledo Walleye and 10 games during their playoff run.
Vesey, 23, returns to Wichita after being recalled on December 31st. The rookie forward has seven points (3g, 4a) in 24 games. A native of North Reading, Massassachusetts, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward is a former draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs (round 6, #158 overall) in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
The Thunder returns from the All-Star Break on Saturday night to host the Idaho Steelheads at 7:05 p.m.
