
Wilmington closes out home schedule with win over Detroit

Wilmington, NC- Joe Buck had a season high 24 points; Brian Leggett added 21 to lead Wilmington to a convincing 110-91 victory over slumping Detroit. The loss for the Panthers is their third straight.
The game was tight for the first two quarters with Wilmington leading by four after one and eight at halftime. In the third, the Sea Dawgs slowly started pulling away, and in the fourth finished the deal outscoring the Panthers by nine to take the 19 point victory.
Wilmington got 21 from Brian Leggett and 17 from Alex Harper. This was in addition to Buck's 24 points and 14 boards.
Detroit was lead by Stane's Bufford's 29; Walter Waters had a double double with 21 points and 12 rebounds.
The two teams face off for the final two games of the three game set in Detroit on Saturday and Sunday.
