
Battle Creek moves to 16-2 with a convincing victory over Augusta

Augusta, GA- Kenny Langhorne and Jason Arbet each had 24 points as Battle Creek moves to 16-2 on the year with a 122-97 victory over Augusta.
Augusta actually lead by six after one quarter, but Battle Creek fought back and outscored the Groove 38-14 in the second quarter to take a ten point lead going into the break. Battle Creek would add on to their lead in the third by outscoring the Groove by nine; they then cruised the rest of the way and came out with a 25 point victory.
Battle Creek, who has clinched the best record in the PBL, shot 54 percent from the field but struggled from the line only going 21-36. The Knights outrebounded the Groove 41-39.
Augusta was lead by Demitrius Howard with 24, Cory Sims added 16 for the Groove who drop to 10-10 and have finished their season at the .500 mark.
