Razorsharks tie record for points in a game in throttling Buffalo

Rochester, NY- Rochester scored early and often against Buffalo as the RazorSharks hand Buffalo their 17th straight loss, a 156-111 victory over the Stampede.

The 156 points scored by Rochester ties the PBL record for points in a game and is the most points scored in a game this season.

Rochester led this game wire to wire leading by 24 after one, 33 at the half, 36 after three and finally finishing this one out with a 45 point victory.

The RazorSharks placed eight players in double figures lead by 30 from Keith Friel. Friel also had six of Rochester's PBL record 22 three pointers to lead all scorers. Tre Whitted added 27 for the RazorSharks; he went 5-5 from three point range. Tyrone Rayson lead the Stampede with 30.

Rochester now has a two game lead over Wilmington for first place in the Eastern Division of the PBL. If Wilmington loses to Detroit tonight in Wilmington, the RazorSharks will clinch the PBL East.

Rochester and Buffalo will close out their three game set on Friday night in Buffalo.

Notes: In their three games this season, the RazorSharks average margin of victory over Buffalo is 32.3 points. Rochester went 22-37 from three point range. The last time 156 points was scored was on March 13, 2008 when Dallas defeated Jacksonville 156-103.
