(Duluth, MN) On another chilly evening at Wade Stadium, Willmar got the best of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. It was a classic pitchers duel that saw 20 total strike outs between the two teams.
Dylan Barrow (U of Tampa) was lights out on the mound through six innings, allowing only one hit while striking out ten stingers. The Huskies had seven total hits, but were unable to push runners across when needed. Mac James (Oklahoma) had two hits and knocked across the lone run in the sixth inning. Alex Greene added two hits from the leadoff spot.
Tonight's loss concludes the two-game home stand at Wade Stadium. The Huskies will travel to Thunder Bay for a two game slate before returning to The Wade on 5/31.
