In the bottom of the fourth, Bowling Green's hitting went on a scoring massacre. With three straight batters reaching base and a Michael Berglundbloop single that would score two runs, they were just getting started. Two batters later, Williams would double into right field, scoring two more runs, before the next batter, Osleivis Basabe, singled on a fly ball, scoring Williams from second and giving Bowling Green a five-run fourth.
The Hot Rods would close out their offense for the night in the sixth inning. Once again Williams would hit a two-run homer, giving him six RBIs for the night and two home runs, giving them an 11-0 lead. Basabe would take a walk and Manzardo a double before Murray grounded out to score Basabe, giving them an astounding 12 runs on the night.
Their pitching was just as good as their hitting as the trio of Victor Munoz, Frankie Dacosta, and Cameron Leonard allowed only two hits to the Dash all night, shut them out, and stuck out nine batters, with Munoz getting his first win of the season.
