
Drive Win Final Game of the Series

Greenville Drive News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Drive won the final game of the series with the Hickory Crawdads. Greenville tied the series after a win of 3-1 against Hickory Sunday night.
A no runs first inning left Drive player Alex Binelas to make the first move in the second when he hit a home run his first time at the plate.
The Drive kept up the momentum when Nick Decker followed Binelas' lead and hit a homerun his first time at the plate at the top of the third.
Greenville scored their final run in the fourth when Matthew Lugo ran home due to a sacrifice fly by Binelas.
The Crawdads scored their first and only run after Randy Florentino hit an RBI double to make the score Greenville 3 Hickory 1.
The Drive continued to stay in the lead while Hickory was left struggling. Greenville pitcher, Wyatt Olds took home the win after he threw for 5.1 innings and only allow two hits while on the mound.
The Greenville Drive will play the Bowling Green Hot Rods this Tuesday, June 21st at Fluor Field.
