Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release
MUSKEGON, Michigan (March 3rd) - The Muskegon Lumberjacks are proud to announce that Forward Will Graber has made college commitment to play Division I hockey for the Big Green of Dartmouth College out of the ECAC following his junior career.
Graber, the Longmont, Colorado native, has skated in 26 games for the Lumberjacks this season dishing out five assists to go with a plus-two rating since coming over in a trade from the Sioux Falls Stampede back in early December. Through 66 games played in his USHL career that began last season, Graber has totaled 4 goals and 11 assists.
Prior to being selected by the Stampede in the 18th round (269th overall) during the 2013 USHL Phase II Draft, Graber spent the 2012-13 season with the Russell Stover Midget Minor team recording 13 goals and 9 assists in 40 games played. Last season, Graber bounced around between the Stampede, Brookings Blizzard of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), and Kansas City Mavs Elite Midget Major team. Graber dished out three assists in 25 games with the Blizzard while netting a pair of goals in 12 games with the Mavs Midget Major squad.
To date, one former Lumberjack that played with Muskegon during the 2011-12 season in Ryan Bullock currently skates for the Big Green as a junior defenseman.
