Scott Brannon scored a short handed goal with 1:27 remaining in the game to give the Moncton Wildcats a 3-2 win over the Mooseheads at the Metro Centre on Friday night.
No scoring in the first period. Grant scored for Halifax at the 13 second mark of the second, The Wildcats tied it on Daniel Pettersson's seventh of the season at 15:53 on the power play.
In the third, Halifax went ahead 2-1 on Amyot's power play goal at 1:51. The Wildcats evened the game again at 9:05 with Ted Stephens's 11 of the year, Savard and Jodoin got the assist.
Brannon's winning goal with Randy Cameron in the penalty box gave the Wildcats their fifth straight win.
