EVENT: MONCTON WILDCATS TRADE "MOVES" WITH WORLD FAMOUS HARLEM GLOBETROTTER

World's Most Famous Basketball Team set to play Moncton Coliseum on Saturday

TIME: Friday, April15 at 2 p.m.

PLACE: Hockey Rink at Red Ball Internet Centre, 55 Russ Howard Dr, Moncton, NB E1C 0L7

DETAILS: Harlem Globetrotters top dribbler Blenda Rodriguez will take to the hockey rink with members of the Moncton Wildcats for an unprecedented exchange of basketball and hockey showmanship. Blenda is preparing for the Globetrotters' game at the Moncton Coliseum on Saturday at 7 p.m.

To commemorate the event, Blenda and the Globetrotters will donate tickets to the Moncton Boys and Girls Club, the Wildcats' youth charity of choice. Fans can purchase tickets to the Globetrotters game on Saturday at www.harlemglobetrotters.ca or the Moncton Coliseum Box Office.

Blenda will show the Wildcats some new moves including how to spin the ball on a hockey stick and the blade of a skate. In turn, Blenda will receive a lesson from Moncton's hockey stars.

The Globetrotters are known for bringing the game of basketball to unique places all over the world for 85 years, including an outdoor game on ice in New York City in 2010.
