
Wildcats Open Québec Road Trip with a Bang

The Wildcats launched a 3-game Québec road trip in Sherbrooke Friday night, taking out the Phoenix 6-3 at Palais des Sports Léopold-Drolet.
Captain Yoan Loshing again grabbed First Star honours with a 2-goal game, giving him 21 on the season. The Cats popped in four first period goals and Moncton is an amazing 12-0 this season when they score first. Three goals came on the powerplay, with others to Miles Müller (11th) and Alex Mercier (9th) who also enjoyed a three-point game with a pair of assists. Rounding out the attack were Olivier Boutin (2nd) and Vincent Collard (16th). Third Star Caleb Desnoyers provided two assists. Natan Grenier and Preston Lounsbury also chipped in with a pair of helpers.

Moncton's road record is an impressive 11-1-1-0 and overall, 19-7-1-1. The road trip continues Friday night against the Remparts in Québec City. Game time is 8pm Atlantic from Centre Videotron. Saturday, the Wildcats tangle with the Cataractes in Shawinigan at 5pm Atlantic.
