The Moncton Wildcats stormed across the Confederation Bridge and whipped the PEI Rocket 6-1 on Wednesday night.
The Cats led 2-1 after one, 4-1 after 40 minutes and added another pair of goals in the final frame.
Marek Hrivik scored twice for Moncton, singles went to Ted Stephens, Alex Saulnier, Olivier D'Aoust and Scott Brannon. The lone PEI goal was scored by Adam Polaskek
The Wildcats outshot the Rocket 53-25.
