
Wildcats Fall to Shawinigan

Moncton Wildcats News Release
Moncton, NB - The Moncton Wildcats were back at the Coliseum in as many nights to take on the 2012 Memorial Cup Hosts Shawinigan Cataracts. After a hard fought battle last night with on 15 skaters and a short lineup tonight, it wasn't to be and the guys put up a good effort but fell the Cataracts 6-0.
Tonight's attendance was 5594 and the 50/50 pot was $8771. Shots on goal were 61-26 in favor of Shawinigan. Moncton was 0/4 on the PP while the Cataracts were 3/4. Three stars were:
1. SHA - 54 Maximilien Le Sieur
2. SHA - 9 Yannick Veilleux
3. SHA - 72 Loïk Poudrier
The Wildcats are back in action Thursday March 8th vs. Nathan MacKinnon and the Halifax Moosheads.
