South Georgia Wildcats News Release

Albany, GA - The South Georgia Wildcats are very excited to announce two key additions to their 2007 roster. Quarterback, D. Bryant, and Wide Receiver, Chavis McCollister, have been assigned to the Wildcats.

Bryant spent last season with the Manchester Wolves, completing 65% of his passes and tossing 59 touchdowns while only throwing seven interceptions. "D brings a lot of experience and playmaking ability to our team. It's always nice to have a quarterback who's played at a high level in our league previously," says Head Coach Derek Stingley.

McCollister hauled in 22 touchdowns on 907 yards receiving, in only seven games to finish last season with the Macon Knights. "Chavis is one of the best players in this league and the organization can't wait for him to take the field," says Stingley.

The Wildcats play their first game of 2007 on Saturday, March 31st against the Arkansas Twisters at the Albany Civic Center on Cooper Tire Field. For ticket information, call the Wildcats at (229) 435-0205.
