
Wild Things Set Date for Open House 2013

Washington, PA - The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial have set the time and date for the 2013 Open House. Individual game tickets will go on sale when the Wild Things open their doors at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th.
"Fans are not able to purchase individual tickets until that Saturday," said Brian King, Ticket Sales Director for the Wild Things. "We are currently selling season ticket packages, which include full season, half season, and partial plans. We're also selling group tickets for the season, but not individual games until the 13th."
Fans will be able to buy tickets to all of the Wild Things' 2013 home games at the box office, over the telephone, and on line on April 13th. In addition, the Wild Things will hold auditions for the National Anthem from 10 a.m. until noon.
"If the weather cooperates, we'll have games for the kids, tours of the park, and much more," said Steve Zavacky, assistant general manager for the Wild Things. "The team will not yet have assembled, but fans will be able to see the park and enjoy many of the children's activities that we will have during the season. We invite everyone out for a cup of coffee with us!"
The open audition for the National Anthem will take place on the field, weather permitting.
The Wild Things open the 2013 season on the road; the home opener is Friday, May 24th when they'll host the Southern Illinois Miners. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
