They completed the regular season one-half game ahead of the Chillicothe Paints to set up the semi-finals.
The Wild Things' Patrick Stanley took the loss for Washington, lasting three and one-third innings, allowing six hits four runs (two earned), and striking out two. Corey Ohalek pitched three innings in relief, giving up one run on two hits and striking out one. J. J. Hollenbech completed the game, allowing one hit and striking out one.
The Chillicothe Paints will advance to the Frontier League finals to face the winner of the West Division Series between the Rockford RiverHawks vs. the Evansville Otters.
